Have you ever needed to borrow a large amount of money and were worried about how to approach your bank manager? It can be a daunting prospect. What sort of questions will I be asked? Will I have all the answers to hand? What information will be required? Even if you have a sound proposition, will you present it in the most favourable light to ensure that you are offered the funds?

We will analyse your proposition and honestly appraise its chances of success. If we think that your proposition is unsound, we will tell you why we came to that conclusion and make alternative suggestions that can solve the problem.

If we believe that the proposition is likely to be successful, we can then complete the application with you, advising on all the supplementary information that is required. It is often a good idea to supply the information to the bank prior to the meeting with the manager. This will ensure that the bank obtains a good grasp of the situation before the meeting, and hopefully avoid the need for a further time consuming visit, other than to complete the lending formalities.
